Quarterhand is being built with founding practices, in public. These are dated notes on what we’ve decided and why.
The founding program is open
We’re taking twenty-five Australian practices through a full BAS quarter on Quarterhand — free for the quarter, founding price locked for life. The deal is simple: use it on real clients and tell us what’s broken while the decisions are still being made. We’d rather build with twenty-five practices than launch at a thousand and guess.
Six jobs, and a tag on every one
We settled the shape of the product: six jobs off the practice’s plate — extract, chase, draft, watch, guard, collect — under one platform with your sign-off on all of it. The harder decision was honesty. Some of those jobs are live, some are in pilot, one launches for 1 July. So we tag every feature on the page with exactly where it stands. This industry has had enough tools that promised first and built later.
Why “Quarterhand”
The name had to carry the job, not a buzzword. Practices live in quarters — the BAS quarter is the unit their year is measured in — and what they need is a steady hand on it. Quarterhand. It says what it does without shouting, which is roughly the whole brief.
